vines and maize. The area is famous for its cognac, (tasting highly recommended!), and many producers live close by. The house and local area offer something for everyone – from quiet country walks and boating on the local lake to exploring the rich cultural and historic heritage.

The area immediately surrounding the house provides wide open farmland - the local farmers are happy for guests to explore the neighbourhood using the grassy tractor paths between the crops - maybe to find that perfect picnic spot? The quiet country roads are perfect for cycling, walking, and for those that are more energetic - running.
